Emulcut 160 is a boron and formaldehyde-free high-performance coolant. It has particularly been developed for demanding thread-forming operations on stainless steel. Thanks to the technically advanced formulation, Emulcut 160 is also suited for the toughest machining operations on steel, cast iron, aluminum, and titanium.
Emulcut 160 has been formulated with mineral oil along with highly efficient EP esters. The raw material choice used to make Emulcut 160 helps provide an excellent surface finish and outstanding tool life. Although free from formaldehyde, the emulsions are long-term pH-stable. The concentrate does not contain nitrite or critical secondary amines and therefore corresponds to the German TRGS 611 regulations. Special inhibitors provide effective protection against nitrosamine formation.
